About Us: We are a family owed and operarted drag racing team. Kenny, (dad) is the crew chief and Ryan, (son) is the driver. We were organized as a team in January 2006. Morris Drag Racing raced competitively in 2006 in the Texas True 10.5 class at Texas Raceway in Kennedale, Texas. In 2007 we will be racing the Outlaw Top Sportsman class and traveling to several tracks thru-out the state of Texas. Check our schedule to see when we will be at a track near you.
About our driver: Name: Ryan Morris Hometown: Oak Leaf, TX Birthdate: 10/2/86 Ryan's racing career began at age 7. He raced BMX bicycles until he was 15. When he retired he was ranked 3rd in the nation as a 15 year old expert. Ryan began drag racing at 16. After racing several cars we feel he is ready for the big time. In 2006 Ryan drove a 71 Nova in the Texas True 10.5 class. He qualified for every race in 2006 and finished the season 4th in points.  About our team: We have a small group of guys helping us out that we would like to acknowledge. Ronnie Morris and Goat would be considered our 2 other crew chiefs. The knowledge that both of these guys have is a great asset to our team. Without the hard work and expertise of these 2 guys we wouldn't be where we are today.
